Fred Carl, Jr. creator of the amazing Viking Range Corporation that revolutionized the modern kitchen around the world contacted us to design and build their very first Viking Extranet Site that featured all the ground breaking technical PDF installation and technical repair instructions for it's fast growing product line.

It all started in 1998 when Fred Carl, Jr. CEO of Viking Range Corporation asked my opinion on how to bridge the gab between all the different computer systems at that time. Viking was having to export documents to Windows, Linux, Macintosh, and other competing computer platforms and this was causing big issues. His wisdom at that time was to produce a cross platform CD that would work on all those various computer platforms and was seeking my advice on how to make that happen.

I proposed a completely different path than what he anticipated - a Viking Dealer Extranet. The Viking Extranet would be a password protected intranet and extranet site where all the critical documentation was centralized - keeping life simple. This idea was quickly vetted and approved.

These are the original functioning screen captures of the very first Viking Distributor Principal Intranet Site. Chris Alford Graphic Design went onto redesign and produce the Viking Consumer Website and introduce the very first Viking Online Store.
